With just over 1000 downloads of all 3 live albums in just the past month makes me believe that I should keep releasing the shows. In bigger news just confirmed, I'll be doing 4 live sets in Garretteville, OH at the Mayflowers Fest at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park over Friday night and Saturday night. This Saturday night in Bridgeport, CT (04-05-08), the great organization "Strangers Helping Strangers" will be taking food and goods donations at the Bujak / Lovewhip show at Acoustic Cafe. Donations will go to the Bridgeport Rescue Mission.

High Protein foods, canned meats, rice, baby food & formula, toiletries, feminine hygiene and any other non-perishable foods are needed. They'll have CD's for everyone who donates. So stop by, $5 gets you into the 9pm show and a donation will feed and help a family of the less-fortunate. Music = love.

I've been hard at work on a new dimension in my music venture. I plan on multi-track recording every live show I play and releasing them as albums. So, if you miss a show, or heard things about a show, you can listen and download it for free. You can also buy the physical album for $5. They will be studio quality and mastered properly.

02-04-08 | Releasing an Arsnenal to the world

What a day... what a day to come home. This past Saturday was the official CD release show (not party) of Building: An Arsenal. It was a success! A wonderful night was had by all. I want to thank every single human that was there that night who shared the amazing night of music with me. Justin and Christine Eck from Somebody's Closet warmed up the stage to start the show, and they couldn't have sounded better! Amazing voices and amazing songs. Then, of course Turbine tore the paint off the walls after my set. Greg came of Virginia, Mike and Holly came from Rochestah... and many others came from far and wide to celebrate and it was deeply appreciated. Thank you all. Now BUY MY ALBUM!!! (...on Tuesday if you didn't buy it at the show.)

01-27-08 | Wingnuts, internets and waffles

What a week. Ithaca, Binghamton and Syracuse proved to be a learning experience for me. It was my first 3 day run this year and with this current new live setup.

In Ithaca, I opened for Wingnut (one of the best ambient, groove jazz I've even heard; www.wingnutjazz.com) and interchanging sets with e.rich. I had my first Seitan sandwich and had a great time.

Binghamton was great to me. A 3 hour radio sit down, a live acoustic performance on TV and then 2 sets at Cyber Cafe was enough to secure Binghamton one of my favorite supportive towns.

And Syracuse, as always, was great. Funk 'N Waffles is an amazing place to chill and hear great music. As Eliot said that night, "Waffles just make you smile." Check them out at www.funknwaffles.com. I'm going back to Syracuse this weekend for the CD Release show at Mezzanotte Lounge, so I hope to see all your faces then as well.
